Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosa throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Araujo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rosa is in Araujo's guard.

Araujo tries to stall but Rosa uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Rosa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Rosa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Araujo wants to get back to his feet but Rosa is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Rosa is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Rosa's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Araujo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rosa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Araujo will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Well Rosa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
