Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksandr Fedorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sam Stout! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aleksandr Fedorov! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stout throws a series of punches but Fedorov moves out of range. Stout misses with an uppercut. Fedorov saw that one coming. Stout throws a right hand that Fedorov ducks under and follows up with a left that Fedorov also avoids with ease. Fedorov leaves Stout with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fedorov throws a nice head kick!

Stout doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fedorov holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Fedorov manages to break the clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fedorov won't let Stout get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Fedorov with a couple of short strikes. Fedorov landing strikes, looking to finish! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aleksandr Fedorov dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Fedorov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stout circles away quickly and effectively. Fedorov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Stout misses with a kick to the body and Fedorov counters with a one-two to the body. Fedorov swinging wildly here.

Stout wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Fedorov manages to pass to side control. Fedorov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fedorov is keen to just control but Stout is a slippery customer. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stout avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fedorov. Fedorov trying to pass the guard but Stout defending well. Fedorov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stout does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Stout is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Fedorov scores with a couple of nice shots. Fedorov trying to control the action but Stout is working from the bottom. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fedorov is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Stout dodges the ground and pound from Fedorov. Stout is looking to get back to his feet here but Fedorov is keeping cool and he's managed to take Stout's back. Stout controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fedorov struggling to keep hold of the position.
Fedorov misses with an elbow to the head. Fedorov somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Fedorov throwing wild punches that miss their target. Stout has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Stout covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Aleksandr Fedorov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Fedorov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Fedorov gets in close and instigates a clinch. Fedorov lands with a short head shot on the inside. Fedorov is struggling to control the position. Stout tries to break free but Fedorov pushes him back against the cage. Fedorov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fedorov lands a nice shot to the body.

and Fedorov counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Stout! This has been an exciting period of action! Fedorov postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Stout looks a forlorn figure.
It looks like Sam Stout has been cut. Fedorov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fedorov lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

And that's the end of the fight! Aleksandr Fedorov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fedorov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
