ZupanoviC comes to the cage accompanied by Kapetane tribali bi doma. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zaharov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in ZupanoviC's guard.

ZupanoviC is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Zaharov is aware though and is defending well.
Zaharov working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
ZupanoviC bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zaharov's guard.
Zaharov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
ZupanoviC pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Zaharov is keeping the position for now.

Zaharov looking for a guillotine here but ZupanoviC defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zaharov wants to sweep here but ZupanoviC controlling him for the moment.

ZupanoviC is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zaharov can do anything to dispel that myth.

ZupanoviC is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Zaharov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time ZupanoviC.

ZupanoviC thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Zaharov wants to get back to his feet but ZupanoviC is dominant here and he's now got Zaharov's back!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

ZupanoviC is looking for the choke from the back position but Zaharov is controlling his hands well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

ZupanoviC closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zaharov to the mat! Zaharov manages to get full guard.
ZupanoviC wants to control from the top but Zaharov keeps moving.
ZupanoviC is looking to advance position but Zaharov has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Zaharov breaks from ZupanoviC's wrist control and lands an elbow.
ZupanoviC is wriggling around trying to escape.
Zaharov pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
ZupanoviC is trying to escape the mount.

ZupanoviC is desperately trying to improve his position but Zaharov has a good base and remains in mount.

Oh ZupanoviC is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zaharov cracks ZupanoviC with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
