Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cobb Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sackett's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Whoomp There it is. Nash has chosen Dry the River as his entrance music. Sackett is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Orlando Sackett could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Cobb Nash's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Orlando Sackett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cobb Nash! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nash fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sackett looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Sackett looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Nash dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A punch lands to the side of Sackett 's head but he takes it in his stride. Nash is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Nash cracks Sackett with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nash throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nash tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sackett was well out of range. Poor timing from Nash. Nash shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sackett's guard. Nash trying to control but Sackett is working from the bottom. Nash is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Nash keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sackett's head. Nash passes Sackett's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nash perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Nash passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Sackett! Nash landing strikes, looking to finish! Nash looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Nash connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nash controlling the pace for now. Nash breaks from Sackett's wrist control and lands an elbow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Oooooh, big shot lands for Nash! Sackett is hurt baaadly! Nash is firing away with more strikes - Sackett is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Cobb Nash!
