Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mike Spahr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Motherflippin Hiphopopotamus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Spahr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Motherflippin Hiphopopotamus!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spahr fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Spahr tries for a takedown but Hiphopopotamus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hiphopopotamus.
Spahr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hiphopopotamus's waist but Hiphopopotamus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Spahr off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Spahr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hiphopopotamus stuffs the takedown attempt from Spahr. Spahr gets slowly back to his feet.
Hiphopopotamus throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hiphopopotamus pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Spahr shoots for a double leg takedown but Hiphopopotamus sprawls well. He's pushed Spahr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Spahr blocks a low kick nicely.
Hiphopopotamus looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Hiphopopotamus throws a head kick but Spahr moves out of range.
Hiphopopotamus turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Spahr closes the distance and clinches up with Hiphopopotamus, looking for a takedown. Spahr pushes Hiphopopotamus against the cage but Hiphopopotamus circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hiphopopotamus throws a nice outside leg kick.
Spahr on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Spahr is breathing heavily.
A slapping body kick lands there for Hiphopopotamus.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hiphopopotamus cracks the inside of Spahr's front leg.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Spahr checks the leg kick nicely there.
An inside leg kick from Hiphopopotamus misses.
Hiphopopotamus lands with a slapping head kick.
Spahr tries for a takedown but Hiphopopotamus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Whack! Hiphopopotamus lands a heavy head kick that drops Spahr. The ref tackles Hiphopopotamus to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Spahr was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Motherflippin Hiphopopotamus!
