Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Defoe Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Crotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crotch has chosen Why Can't We Be Friends? by War as his entrance music. Richard Crotch will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Defoe Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Richard Crotch!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crotch lands a nice hook to Gracie's body. Gracie takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A lazy left from Crotch finds it's target.
Crotch lands a leg kick that knocks Gracie off balance momentarily.
Crotch misses with an uppercut. Gracie saw that one coming.
Crotch misses the shot to the body.
Crotch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Gracie tries to bench press Crotch off him but Crotch keeps the position.
Crotch has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
A looping hook to the body misses from Crotch. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet.
Richard Crotch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Crotch takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses.
Crotch jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Crotch throws a looping overhand right but Gracie ducks down to avoid it.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Crotch lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gracie has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gracie and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Crotch lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Crotch's corner calls for a 1-2. Crotch obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Crotch swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Crotch lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Gracie at a distance.
Crotch throws a looping overhand right but Gracie ducks down to avoid it.

Crotch works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Crotch connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Crotch tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Crotch.
Sloppy strikes from Crotch. Those never looked like landing.
Gracie takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Crotch lands a jab to Gracie's midsection.
Gracie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Crotch moves away.
That kick from Crotch tenderised Gracie's leg. Gracie is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gracie pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Gracie staying out of range there.
Crotch throws a leg kick which misses Gracie's front leg but catches the back leg as Gracie tries to avoid it.
Crotch misses with a low kick.
Crotch throws the left hand but Gracie avoids the punch easily.
The fighters circling - Crotch throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Crotch throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gracie on the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie thows a left - swing and a miss!
Crotch misses with a hook. Gracie ducked under it nicely.
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Crotch misses with a straight right.
Crotch scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Crotch thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gracie's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crotch drops an elbow to the side of Gracie's head.
Crotch is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Gracie looking for submissions off his back.
Gracie moves into full guard.
Crotch wants to get up but he can't break Gracie's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's four minutes gone in the round.

Crotch in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Crotch throws and elbow that misses. Gracie uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Crotch's guard. Nice move by Gracie!
Crotch looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Gracie has picked Crotch up and slammed him! Crotch can't keep hold of the triangle and Gracie manages to pass to side control!
Crotch tries to escape but Gracie is in control.
Crotch struggling a bit here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Crotch sneaks back into half guard.
Gracie is looking for a kimura but Crotch is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage.
And thats the end of the round the fighters go back to their corners.
Richard Crotch dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Crotch darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Gracie is not content to let Crotch control the position.
Gracie wants to get back to full guard.
Gracie is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Crotch's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Crotch's back!
Gracie is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Crotch knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Crotch for a finish.
Gracie throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Crotch is trying to defend against the choke here but Gracie has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Gracie Tightens the hold and Crotch taps out furiously! Gracie displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
