Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armand Essou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilcox Apae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apae waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Essou.
Essou throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Apae.
Essou thows a left - swing and a miss!
Apae throws a hook to the side of Essou's head but Essou sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Apae scores with a sloppy right hand. Essou should have avoided that one.
It looks like Armand Essou has been cut.
Apae clinches up against the cage.
Essou wants to break free but Apae has control.
Apae lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Apae throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Apae lands a right hand that snaps the head of Essou backwards.
Apae stalling.
Apae lands an uppercut.
Apae lands on the inside with an uppercut.
The referee calls for Apae to work.
Essou takes a shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice elbow from Apae.
Essou tries to break the clinch but Apae is controlling the position.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Apae.
Apae manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Apae scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Apae dips a shoulder and cracks Essou with a mighty uppercut! Essou falls back against the cage and Apae unloads with a barrage of strikes! Essou is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Apae screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wilcox Apae!
