Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Get Fn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raphael Gama Fuerto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gama Fuerto is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by MV Bill-Falcao. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Get Fn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Raphael Gama Fuerto! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gama Fuerto misses with a straight right. Fn closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fn lands in his opponent's guard. Fn controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Fn has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Fn wants to pass the guard but Gama Fuerto is keeping the position. Gama Fuerto is looking to stand up but Fn isn't so interested in that idea. Fn trying to control but Gama Fuerto is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Fn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gama Fuerto swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Get Fn wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Fn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gama Fuerto gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Gama Fuerto with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Fn fails to pull the fight into his guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gama Fuerto tries to clinch up. Gama Fuerto is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gama Fuerto looks to land a right hand but Fn moved out of range. Gama Fuerto defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fn. Fn swats away the attempt to clinch by Gama Fuerto. Gama Fuerto is looking to clinch but Fn is avoiding it.
Gama Fuerto throws a head kick that misses and Fn counters with a nice body shot. Gama Fuerto tries to clinch but Fn is having none of it. Gama Fuerto fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Gama Fuerto throws a sloppy head kick and Fn counters with a head kick. That will keep Gama Fuerto thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Fn lands a head kick!

Gama Fuerto tries to close the distance and clinch but Fn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Raphael Gama Fuerto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gama Fuerto feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fn's calf. Gama Fuerto misses with a leg kick and Fn counters with a body kick that stops Gama Fuerto in his tracks momentarily. Gama Fuerto closes the distance but Fn moves to the side and Fn counters with a nice kick to the body. Gama Fuerto tries to clinch but Fn is having none of it. Gama Fuerto attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Fn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Fn counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gama Fuerto is lucky that one didn't land flush. Gama Fuerto throws a head kick that misses and Fn counters with a flying knee. Nice.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fn checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Gama Fuerto is looking to clinch but Fn is avoiding it.
Gama Fuerto avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Gama Fuerto is looking to clinch but Fn is avoiding it.
Gama Fuerto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fn swats him away and circles back towards the center. Gama Fuerto forces Fn back against the cage and clinches. Gama Fuerto jumps guard.
Gama Fuerto is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fn throwing strikes from guard but Gama Fuerto blocks nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Get Fn dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
A head kick misses from Fn. Gama Fuerto wants to clinch but Fn slips to the side and Fn counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gama Fuerto is lucky that one didn't land flush. Gama Fuerto fails in his attempt to clinch. Gama Fuerto takes the fight into the clinch. Gama Fuerto misses with a knee to the head. Fn tries to score a body lock takedown but Gama Fuerto shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Gama Fuerto manages to break the clinch.
Fn closes the distance and clinches up with Gama Fuerto, looking for a takedown. Fn pushes Gama Fuerto against the cage but Gama Fuerto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fn throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Fn avoids a kick to the body.
Gama Fuerto fails with an attempt to clinch.
A bone on bone clash there as Fn blocks the leg kick.
Gama Fuerto tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gama Fuerto lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Gama Fuerto closes the distance looking to clinch and Fn counters with a big head kick but Gama Fuerto shrugs it off. Fn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gama Fuerto throws a chopping leg kick but Fn manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Fn throws a head kick but Gama Fuerto moves out of range.
Gama Fuerto fails with a takedown attempt. Gama Fuerto closes the distance looking to clinch and Fn moves into the clinch. Fn has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gama Fuerto avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Get Fn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fn manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Gama Fuerto postures up in Fn's guard and throws a big left but Fn blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fn is controlling Gama Fuerto's posture. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gama Fuerto accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gama Fuerto gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Gama Fuerto dives in and grabs Fn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fn pushes down on Gama Fuerto's head and hops out. Gama Fuerto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fn swats him away and circles back towards the center. Fn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gama Fuerto fails in his attempt to clinch. Gama Fuerto tries to clinch and Fn counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Fn. Fn goes for a takedown in the clinch but Gama Fuerto prevents it.

Gama Fuerto is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Fn is defending well for now. Gama Fuerto pulls Fn into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fn moves nicely into side control. Gama Fuerto is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Gama Fuerto regains half guard. Gama Fuerto is looking to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fn thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Fn wants to pass to mount but Gama Fuerto is defending the position. Gama Fuerto is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Fn wants to work for an arm triangle but Gama Fuerto is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Get Fn will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Fn connects with a high kick. Gama Fuerto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fn swats him away and circles back towards the center. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gama Fuerto gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Gama Fuerto has clasped his hands together around Fn's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Gama Fuerto trying to control the position but Fn is working away. Fn regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gama Fuerto is looking to stall here but Fn recovers full guard. Gama Fuerto wanted to stand there but Fn had control of the position. Fn seems keen to control Gama Fuerto's posture. Gama Fuerto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fn lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gama Fuerto! Fn tries to control but Gama Fuerto wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fn unloads with some shots from mount but Gama Fuerto bucks and avoids them well.
Gama Fuerto wants to hold on but Fn pushes him away. Gama Fuerto sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Fn takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Fn not landing any meaningful shots this time. Gama Fuerto looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gama Fuerto wants to stand and escape but Fn is having none of it. Fn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gama Fuerto swivels though and keeps the full guard. Get Fn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fn controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fn wants to pass the guard but Gama Fuerto is keeping the position. Gama Fuerto wants to stand but Fn is controlling the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Gama Fuerto throws a right hand that Fn ducks under and follows up with a left that Fn also avoids with ease. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fn scores with a kick to the midsection. Raphael Gama Fuerto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gama Fuerto throws a head kick that misses and Fn counters with a head kick.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Get Fn. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fn, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
