Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Denis Melentev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Campbell or perhaps it was just good defense by Melentev which made him look bad.

Melentev closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Melentev lands in his opponent's guard.

Melentev regains half guard there - taking advantage of Campbell's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Campbell is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Melentev can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Campbell seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Melentev's chin but Melentev turns very nicely into Campbell's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Melentev.

Campbell is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
