Malenko comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Control Machete - Comprendes Mendes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malenko lands a nice shot that snaps Bechara's head back.

It looks like Evanildo Bechara has been cut.
Malenko thows a body shot but no joy.

Bechara lands a big head kick that sends Malenko tumbling to the mat! Bechara takes a step backwards and waves Malenko back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Diego Malenko has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bechara lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Malenko circles away quickly and effectively.
Bechara avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bechara looks to land a combination but Malenko avoids it well.
Malenko swings widly with a right hand
and Bechara finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Bechara ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Malenko takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

That has opened up Diego Malenko's cut even more.
Malenko looks gassed!
Malenko misses with a left hand

and Bechara counters with a nice right hand that sends Malenko toppling to the canvas! Malenko scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bechara finish him?!

Malenko is rocked!
Bechara darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Malenko's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Bechara before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
