Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wasted Youth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bearded Clam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clam has chosen Filthy Christmas as his entrance music. Wasted Youth has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Youth scores with a takedown into Clam's guard.
Clam has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Youth can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Clam postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Youth is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Clam, into his guard.

Clam had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Youth is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Clam Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Youth's back instead.
Clam is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Clam swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Youth is now in Clam's guard. A big mistake from Clam there, giving up the dominant position!
Clam lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Youth!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Clam is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Youth is surviving well by controlling Clam's body position as best he can.
Clam moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Youth has worked his arm free - good work by Youth!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
