Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Holden Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toru Ohta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ohta is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Technopolis. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ohta defends it nicely.
Holden Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Ohta, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Ohta against the cage but Ohta circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Ohta tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ohta manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Holden Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ohta lunges at Jones with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Jones's hand.
Ohta rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ohta turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ohta has hold of Jones's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jones seems comfortable defending it but Ohta has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jones is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jones is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ohta couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Toru Ohta!
