Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Purple Kush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and La Loco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Purple Kush! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, La Loco! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loco tries a head kick but it misses.
Kush could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kush misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Loco scores with a kick to the body.
Loco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Loco controlling from the full mount. A nice elbow there by Loco. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Loco working for a guillotine from mount but Kush is in no mood to give up. Loco looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
It looks like Purple Kush has been cut. Loco has hold of Kush's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kush manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kush is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loco throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Kush manages to regain half guard. Good work. Kush is staying active underneath Loco, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Kush wants to get back to his feet.
Loco controlling the action here. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Loco prevents Kush from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kush works his way to full guard. Good work. Loco trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kush is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kush working a defensive guard here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. La Loco was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kush tries for a takedown but Loco circles away easily and Loco counters with a three punch combo that has Kush backing up. Kush nods at Loco to acknowledge the strikes. Kush avoids the head kick by Loco.
Loco misses with a takedown and Kush counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loco is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Kush is controlling him well. Loco looks gassed! Kush is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Loco is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kush scores with a couple of short elbows. Kush goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Loco rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kush's guard! Nice work there by Loco! Kush pulls Loco in to control the position. Kush looking for a sweep. Not yet Kush, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Loco wants to stand but Kush has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Loco must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Loco wants to control from the top but Kush keeps moving. Kush is looking to stand up but Loco isn't so interested in that idea.
OK we're going to have a standup here. La Loco hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Some wild striking there from Loco.
Loco with a poor takedown and Kush counters with a nice double leg into side control. Loco won't be happy with that. Kush is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Loco is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kush connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Loco some visible discomfort.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
La Loco dominated that round. The cut man is working on Purple Kush's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kush avoids a kick to the body.
Loco displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kush. Loco tries to close the distance and clinch but Kush swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Loco with a poor takedown and Kush counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kush looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Loco is refusing to be controlled, as Kush sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loco wants to get back to full guard. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Loco. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Loco regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Kush. Kush is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kush thows a big elbow that misses. Loco looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kush puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Kush is trying to control the action in half guard but Loco is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kush seems to be working for a kimura but Loco defends the submission attempt. Loco trying to control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Loco is trying to get back to full guard. Loco is breathing heavily. Loco is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kush missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Loco wants to control but Kush is keeping busy.
Kush is working for a submission of some sort.

Kush wants to take a breather but Loco is having none of it. Kush is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Loco is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Loco moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Loco avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kush throws a big right hand that misses. Kush wants to control from the top but Loco keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kush slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We're going to have a standup here because Purple Kush wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Loco fails with the takedown and Kush counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Loco has his takedown stuffed and Kush counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Loco! Purple Kush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of La Loco. Kush with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kush looking to control but Loco is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Purple Kush dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Purple Kush's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Kush gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Loco counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Loco trying to control but Kush is working from the bottom. Loco postures up.
Loco wants to pass the guard but Kush is keeping the position. Loco drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Loco jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kush has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Loco should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kush has tightened it up now! Loco should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
