Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Jakson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kerry Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jakson comes into the arena with Thriller blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ward lands with an overhand left.
Ward cracks the inside of Jakson's front leg.
Ward goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jakson fails with the takedown.
Jakson slips under a jab.
Jakson thows a leg kick but Ward checks it
and Ward cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ward thows a body shot but no joy.
Ward scores with a jab.
Jakson tries a head kick but it misses.
Good shot there by Ward.
Jakson tries to clinch up but Ward circles away and keeps his distance.
Ward pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Ward jabs Jakson right on the nose. Jakson blinks but takes it well.
Kerry Ward is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jakson misses with a body kick.
Ward works Jakson's body with a nice hook.
Jakson looks to land a right hand but Ward moved out of range.
Jakson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Ward thows a body shot but no joy.
Jakson dives in and grabs Ward's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ward pushes down on Jakson's head and hops out.
Ward feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jakson's calf.
Jakson tries to clinch but Ward moves away
and Ward cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Ward fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jakson, pushing him back against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ward manages to break the clinch.
Ward keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Jakson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ward lands with a slapping head kick.
Ward defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jakson.

A left lands for Ward.

Jakson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ward.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jakson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Ward scores with a hook to the body. Jakson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Oh Jakson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ward throws an overhand right that has Jakson reeling! Ward follows up with more punches and Jakson is out cold! This one is all over!
