Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida comes into the arena with the dragon blaring out of the sound system. Machida has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon stuffs the takedown attempt from Machida. Machida gets slowly back to his feet.
Machida shoots in but Dixon avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Machida fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dixon sprawls well initially but Machida persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dixon slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Dixon looking for a guillotine here but Machida defends easily.
Dixon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Machida is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dixon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Machida blocking the ground and pound.
Machida is squirming around, avoiding Dixon's attempts to control the action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dixon fails to take his opponent's back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dixon lands a big shot there that rocks Machida but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Machida is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dixon looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Oh Machida is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dixon works his way to his opponent's back.
Dixon has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Machida is defending well but eventually Dixon manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Machida has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
