Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Odin Fredriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ossi Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fredriksson comes to the cage accompanied by Manowar - Gods Of War. Jokinen has chosen Prodigy - Omen as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Jokinen. Fredriksson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fredriksson misses with a hook

Fredriksson thuds his right hand into Jokinen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jokinen scores with a hook to the body. Fredriksson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

and Jokinen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Odin Fredriksson has been cut.

Jokinen lands a head kick. Fredriksson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Fredriksson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jokinen.
Odin Fredriksson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jokinen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fredriksson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jokinen avoids it really well and circles away.
Jokinen lands a glancing blow to the side of Fredriksson's head.

Jokinen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Fredriksson misses with a left hand
and Jokinen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Odin Fredriksson's cut is getting worse.
Jokinen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fredriksson is looking to clinch but Jokinen is avoiding it.
A jab from Fredriksson misses.

and Jokinen counters with a series of strikes. Fredriksson will be more careful next time no doubt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fredriksson is breathing heavily.
Jokinen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Jokinen cracks the inside of Fredriksson's front leg.
Fredriksson takes a kick to the side of the head.
Jokinen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fredriksson sprawling to the canvas! Fredriksson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jokinen finish him?!
Fredriksson is rocked!
Odin Fredriksson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Fredriksson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jokinen.
Jokinen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fredriksson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jokinen scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
BOOM! Jokinen lands a beautiful left hook that drops Fredriksson. Fredriksson tries to recover but Jokinen is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Fredriksson lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ossi Jokinen!
