The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morientes misses with a takedown attempt - Wukong sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Morientes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wukong as he jumps to the side.
Morientes thuds his right hand into Wukong's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Wukong displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Morientes.
Son Wukong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Morientes.
Wukong lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Morientes circles away quickly and effectively.
Wukong has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Ricardo Morientes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wukong tests Morientes's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Morientes takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Morientes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wukong sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wukong works over Morientes's head and body with a nice combination.

Good leg kick by Wukong there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Morientes gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Morientes takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Morientes is still on wobbly legs! Can Wukong finish him?
Wukong changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Morientes seems to have recovered his senses.
Wukong drops Morientes with a naaaaasty hook - Morientes is in real trouble here! Wukong dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
