Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diddy Mayweather! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Fraser! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mayweather throws a right and a left that both miss. Mayweather looks for the body kick but Fraser saw that one coming. Mayweather throws a lazy right hand but Fraser sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Mayweather throws the left hand but Fraser avoids the punch easily. Diddy Mayweather seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mayweather tries to clinch up but Fraser circles away and keeps his distance. Mayweather tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Fraser manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Mayweather gets caught flat footed, as Fraser shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mayweather avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Mayweather knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fraser on the ground. Fraser trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Fraser postures up in Mayweather's guard and throws a big left but Mayweather blocks it. Fraser throws and elbow that misses. Mayweather uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fraser's guard. Nice move by Mayweather! Fraser looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fraser has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mayweather can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mayweather takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Fraser to pass into mount. Fraser throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Fraser manages to regain half guard. Good work. Fraser is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mayweather pulls his head out easily. Fraser tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fraser throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Fraser looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fraser actively working from the bottom here. Fraser is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mayweather pulls his head out easily. Mayweather decides to stand and escape the position. Mayweather throws a shot from downtown. Fraser moves away and avoids it. Fraser shoots in for a takedown but Mayweather shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fraser is defended easily by Mayweather. Mayweather will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fraser throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mayweather tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fraser is in Mayweather's guard. Mayweather working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fraser. Fraser throws a big right hand that misses. Fraser won't allow Mayweather to get back to his feet. That's four minutes gone in the round. Fraser landing with the ground and pound. Fraser working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mayweather's head. Mayweather wants to stand but Fraser is controlling the position. Fraser passes Mayweather's left leg - he's now in half guard. Fraser winds up and cracks Mayweather with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Mayweather blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fraser. Fraser slips a nice elbow through Mayweather's hands, connecting with Mayweather's forehead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mayweather gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fraser to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fraser has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fraser is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mayweather is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mayweather has escaped and now he's on top! Fraser looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mayweather is one step ahead there. Fraser has an active guard here but Mayweather has managed to pass into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mayweather swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Mayweather tries to clinch up but Fraser circles away and keeps his distance. Fraser looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mayweather is fending him off so far but Fraser persists. Nope, Mayweather circles away and we're back to standing. Mayweather thows a left - swing and a miss! Fraser moves away from the strike by Mayweather. Fraser fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Fraser swats away the attempt to clinch by Mayweather. Mayweather throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fraser shoots for a takedown but Mayweather saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Diddy Mayweather has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Fraser. Mayweather doesn't manage to clinch there - Fraser circles away.
Mayweather misses the jab. Fraser scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Fraser is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fraser is pressing down on Mayweather's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mayweather is holding on for now. Fraser is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mayweather sees it coming and defends easily. Fraser is looking to advance position but Mayweather won't allow it. Fraser looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fraser working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Mayweather manages to get to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fraser postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mayweather is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fraser, into his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tim Fraser. Fraser shoots in and bounces Mayweather off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fraser throwing strikes from guard but Mayweather blocks nicely. Mayweather trying to strike off his back.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fraser wants to control from the top but Mayweather keeps moving. Fraser is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Tim Fraser. I've got Fraser winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
