Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Lusion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lusion comes to the cage accompanied by Destroy Everything. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Lusion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miguel Salazar! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salazar cracks Lusion with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Salazar throws a head kick but Lusion moves out of range.
Salazar misses with a series of wild punches.
Salazar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Salazar cracks Lusion with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Lusion throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lusion scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Lusion decides to stand back up. Lusion steps back and let's Salazar get back to his feet. Donk. Salazar catches Lusion right on the button with a cross. Lusion tries to land a front kick but Salazar steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Lusion dodges the punch combination from Salazar.
Salazar displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lusion. Miguel Salazar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Salazar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lusion looking for a takedown. Lusion goes for a takedown in the clinch but Salazar prevents it.

Salazar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lusion is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Salazar wants to control from the top but Lusion keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Salazar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lusion is pulling down on Salazar's head. It's preventing any offense from Salazar, at least for the moment. Salazar looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Salazar wants to control from the top but Lusion keeps moving. Salazar stands and throws Lusion's legs to the side, diving into side control. Salazar taking a break here but Lusion is having none of it and regains half guard. Salazar moves into full mount! Lusion won't be happy about that! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lusion tries to reverse the position but Salazar maintains control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salazar trying to control but he's not successful this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Miguel Salazar will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lusion dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Salazar shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lusion as he avoids it easily. Lusion closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lusion taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Lusion pushes Salazar off and scrambles back to his feet.
Salazar stuffs the takedown. Salazar closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lusion quickly recovers to half guard. Salazar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Lusion blocking the ground and pound attempt from Salazar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salazar works his way into side control. Salazar looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. You can see the frustration on Lusion's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Lusion manages to work his way to half guard, despite Salazar's best efforts. Salazar passes the guard and advances to mount! Lusion wants to control but Salazar is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salazar goes for an armbar but Lusion turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Lusion. Lusion would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Lusion throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Salazar had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lusion defends it easily. Salazar looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Salazar working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lusion.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lusion showing good wrestling skills to control the position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Salazar looking for a sweep. Not yet Salazar, not yet.
We're going to have a standup here because Anthony Lusion wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Salazar shoots for a takedown but Lusion saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Lusion on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Lusion avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Salazar tries to bum rush Lusion with a series of wild strikes but Lusion uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Salazar is breathing heavily. Salazar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Salazar misses with a straight right. Anthony Lusion is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lusion shoots in for a takedown but Salazar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Danga de danga de dang - Salazar scores with a four punch combination! Lusion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Salazar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lusion's guard. Salazar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lusion swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lusion bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Salazar's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lusion controlling from the top position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Salazar striking off his back but it's not causing Lusion any problems. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miguel Salazar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Lusion slips a straight right by Salazar. Salazar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Salazar shoots in looking for a takedown but Lusion manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salazar's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Salazar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lusion tries to avoid it but Salazar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lusion to the ground. Lusion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Anthony Lusion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Salazar. Lusion closes the distance and clinches. Salazar being controlled against the cage. Salazar wants a takedown.

Anthony Lusion overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Salazar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lusion is keeping the position for now. Lusion is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Salazar wants to control the action here but instead Lusion manages to pass to full mount! Salazar manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Lusion is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Lusion is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Salazar sees it coming and defends easily. Lusion prevents Salazar from improving his position. Lusion wants to take a breather but Salazar is having none of it. Salazar trying to control but Lusion postures up.
Salazar is looking for a sweep. Lusion is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Salazar moves into full guard.
Salazar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lusion defends well. Lusion decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Nice defenses there by Lusion. The fighters circling - Salazar throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Salazar on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Lusion tries to clinch but Salazar moves out of range. Salazar moves in looking to clinch but Lusion pushes him off. Lusion instigates a clinch.

Salazar has picked Lusion up - he's going for a ride! Salazar dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Lusion manages to get to full guard.
Lusion wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Lusion looking for a sweep. Not yet Lusion, not yet. Lusion keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom. Miguel Salazar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lusion lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Salazar! Lusion controlling from the full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Salazar is desperately trying to improve his position but Lusion has a good base and remains in mount. Salazar is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Lusion looking to finish Salazar with some ground and pound. This is bad for Salazar! Lusion is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Salazar has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Anthony Lusion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Salazar tries to control the position but Lusion now has his back.
Salazar is really stuck here.
Lusion is trying to stick to Salazar's back but Salazar is turning into Lusion. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lusion's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Salazar.
And that's the end of the fight! Anthony Lusion showed his dominance in that final round. I think Salazar has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
