Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xobile Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xavier has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Xobile Xavier has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier wants to clinch.
Silva gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Silva breaks from the clinch.
Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Silva stands up and beckons Xavier to his feet.
Xavier will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Silva with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Xavier is breathing heavily.
Xavier thows a body shot but no joy.
Xobile Xavier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Xavier misses with a takedown
and Silva counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva moves into range and clinches up with Xavier.
Silva breaks from the clinch.
Xavier closes the distance but Silva moves to the side
and Silva counters with a stiff right hand.
Silva forces Xavier back against the cage and clinches.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Silva has eaten all the pies!
Silva turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Silva manages to end up in side control.

Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Xavier is trying to get back to half guard.
Silva is looking to take a break and control but Xavier is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Xavier is looking for a sweep.
Silva has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Xavier is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Silva counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Xavier thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Silva is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Xavier fails with the takedown
and Silva decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Xavier's guard.

Xavier throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Silva clinches.
Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Xavier gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva stands up and waves to Xavier to follow him.
Xavier doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Silva holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Silva breaks from the clinch.
Silva throws a lazy right hand but Xavier sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Xavier tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch.
Silva keeps control of Xavier as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Xavier sprawls well initially but Silva persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Xavier is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Silva throws a right and a left that Xavier avoids nicely.
Silva goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Xavier takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Silva jumps into guard, dragging Xavier to the mat.
Silva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Xavier is one step ahead there.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Xavier is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Xavier won't allow Silva to sweep him here.
Xavier really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Silva holds on and takes a little breather.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Xavier is looking to escape.
Xavier tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Silva connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Xavier tries to reverse the position but Silva maintains control.
Silva postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Xavier looks a forlorn figure.
Xavier is rocked!
Xobile Xavier's cut is getting worse.
Xavier is bucking up trying to escape but Silva cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Oh Xavier is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jeez, Xobile Xavier's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Xobile Xavier's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Victor Silva!
