Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between lewis brewer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and taylor tibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, lewis brewer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, taylor tibbs!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
brewer shoots in but no luck this time.
tibbs is looking to score with low kicks.
tibbs shoots in and bounces brewer off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
brewer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
tibbs is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
tibbs pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. brewer is keeping the position for now.
tibbs passes brewer's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
tibbs's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

taylor tibbs has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
tibbs rushes brewer and presses him up against the cage.
brewer tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and tibbs avoids it.

brewer is breathing heavily.

tibbs tries to pull guard but brewer holds him up against the cage and eventually tibbs drops back down to his feet.
brewer throws a knee to the head but misses.
tibbs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
tibbs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
tibbs has managed to clinch.
tibbs breaks from the clinch.
tibbs forces brewer back against the cage and clinches.

tibbs works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
tibbs working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of brewer's head.

tibbs is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
tibbs gets to his feet. brewer looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
tibbs gets the takedown into side control.
tibbs remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
brewer is working to avoid the ground and pound but tibbs connects with a decent elbow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
tibbs stands up.
tibbs closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - tibbs lands in his opponent's guard.

tibbs stands up from guard. Let's bang!
tibbs lands a head kick. brewer smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
tibbs feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
tibbs gets to his feet. brewer looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
lewis brewer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
tibbs moves into the clinch successfully.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, tibbs creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
tibbs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
tibbs clinches with his opponent.
tibbs goes for a takedown in the clinch but brewer prevents it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

tibbs has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

tibbs makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
tibbs decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
tibbs fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. brewer sprawls well initially but tibbs persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
tibbs decides to stand and escape the position.
tibbs scores with a nice body kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
tibbs tries for a takedown. No joy.
lewis brewer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of taylor tibbs.
brewer using the Thai plumb to throw knees but tibbs has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
brewer wants to get back to striking at distance but tibbs won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
tibbs throws a sloppy head kick and brewer moves out of range easily.
brewer tries for a takedown but tibbs circles away easily
and tibbs counters by moving into the clinch.
brewer stops a takedown attempt from tibbs.
tibbs takes a knee right on the jaw!
tibbs gets control of brewer's arms and successfully pulls guard. tibbs will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
brewer wants to get up but he can't break tibbs's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
tibbs wriggles free and stands up.
brewer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows tibbs to score an easy takedown into full guard.
tibbs works over brewer with some ground and pound from guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

tibbs controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
brewer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for tibbs on the ground.
tibbs stands up and waves to brewer to follow him.
tibbs closes the distance and clinches.

tibbs has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

tibbs wants to sweep here but brewer controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

tibbs is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! brewer rolls with it to try and escape but tibbs cranks on the arm and brewer is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
