Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Oquendo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kick Flip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jose Oquendo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kick Flip!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oquendo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Flip.
Oquendo throws a head kick but Flip moves out of range.
Flip misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Oquendo chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Oquendo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Oquendo scoring well with a low kick there.
Flip looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Flip tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Oquendo connects with a single shot there.
Oquendo scores with a head kick. Flip tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Flip sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Oquendo throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A jab from Oquendo does it's job there.
Flip takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Oquendo scoring well with a low kick there.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Flip crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Oquendo - the referee stops the clock and Flip gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Oquendo. Flip manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oquendo scores with a head kick. Flip tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Nice uppercut lands for Oquendo. That snapped Flip's head back.
Jose Oquendo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oquendo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Oquendo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Oquendo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Flip drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Oquendo feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Flip's calf.
Oquendo lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Flip dodges the punch combination from Oquendo.
Oquendo keeps Flip at a distance using the push kick.
Flip on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Oquendo. Oquendo obviously looking to wear him down.

A head kick misses from Oquendo.
Oquendo throws a head kick but Flip moves out of range.
Oquendo cracks the inside of Flip's front leg.
Oquendo lands a big head kick that sends Flip tumbling to the mat! Oquendo takes a step backwards and waves Flip back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Flip is rocked!

Oquendo throws a quick head kick that knocks Flip silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Oquendo is up on the ropes, taking in the applause from the crowd.
