Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between bash jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Diaz misses with a jab, cross combination.

jones lands a head kick. Diaz smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Quick Diaz has been cut.
jones drives through with a takedown into guard.
jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Diaz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst jones is controlling him.

jones stands and steps away. Diaz gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

jones swings around for an armbar but Diaz sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into jones's guard.

Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz avoids the attempt from jones to control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Diaz can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as jones is looking to escape.

Diaz is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
A decent looking cross lands there for Diaz.
Diaz punishes jones's body with a nice straight punch.
jones decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Diaz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before jones can pounce on him.
jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
jones ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. jones no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Well jones has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
