The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kitauchi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Rose walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kitauchi.
Rose lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kitauchi at a distance.
Rose uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kitauchi.
Rose throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kitauchi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rose takes one to the side of the head.

Rose rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Kitauchi counter with a right hand.
Kitauchi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rose.
Kitauchi throws a sloppy head kick and Rose moves out of range easily.

Kitauchi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rose moves away.
Rose takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rose misses with a hook. Kitauchi ducked under it nicely.
Kitauchi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rose.

Rose circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rose avoids the head kick by Kitauchi.
Kitauchi takes a swing at Rose's ribcage but misses.

and Kitauchi counters with a body kick.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Kitauchi throws out a leg kick but Rose moves out of range and Kitauchi only half commits.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Kitauchi.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Yuji Kitauchi will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Rose takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

and Kitauchi counters with a flying knee. Nice.

and Kitauchi counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Rose is lucky that one didn't land flush.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Kitauchi makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kitauchi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rose's head.

Kitauchi is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Hunter Rose has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Kitauchi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rose is fending him off so far but Kitauchi persists. Nope, Rose circles away and we're back to standing.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kitauchi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rose swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hunter Rose comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kitauchi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
