Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shane Lavelle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Brawler Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brawler Jr comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "Hard Knock Life" Dr. Evil & Mini Me kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Shane Lavelle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brawler Jr misses with a two punch combination.

Brawler Jr displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lavelle.
Lavelle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brawler Jr pinned against the cage. Brawler Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lavelle shoots in looking for a takedown but Brawler Jr manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lavelle's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brawler Jr looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lavelle working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Lavelle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Brawler Jr lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lavelle circles away quickly and effectively.

and Brawler Jr counters with a shoot takedown. Lavelle fights it but they end up in guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brawler Jr stands up and waves to Lavelle to follow him.
Lavelle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brawler Jr manages to avoid it.

and Brawler Jr counters with a shoot takedown. Lavelle fights it but they end up in guard.

Brawler Jr passes Lavelle's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brawler Jr is working for a submission of some sort.

Brawler Jr tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lavelle knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Lavelle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brawler Jr is working away from the top position though.
Brawler Jr is nestled in close to Lavelle, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Brawler Jr looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lavelle with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Brawler Jr is pressing down on Lavelle's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lavelle is holding on for now.

Brawler Jr is looking for a kimura but Lavelle is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Brawler Jr to get the leverage.

Lavelle wants to control but Brawler Jr passes into side.
Brawler Jr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brawler Jr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Brawler Jr is looking to take a break and control but Lavelle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Brawler Jr creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Brawler Jr wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lavelle, who protects the arm well.
Lavelle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brawler Jr on the ground.
Brawler Jr thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Brawler Jr is trying to get an arm triangle but Lavelle is defending well.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lavelle will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lavelle is staying active underneath Brawler Jr, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Brawler Jr postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Lavelle to stand up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Brawler Jr drops Lavelle with a beautiful combination! Lavelle stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Brawler Jr is looking for the KO!
Lavelle is rocked!
Shane Lavelle's cut is getting worse.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Lavelle enables Brawler Jr to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lavelle manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Oh Lavelle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brawler Jr has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Brawler Jr is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Lavelle!
Lavelle seems to have got his legs back now.
Brawler Jr is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Brawler Jr extends the arm and Lavelle is forced to tap!
