Lawal comes to the cage accompanied by Paper Plates. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ritter's choice of entrance music: Enter Sandman. Reeves Lawal has the better chin. Ritter walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Ritter avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lawal lands with an uppercut that bounces Ritter off the cage and back into rage.

Ritter is rocked! Reeves Lawal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lawal scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ritter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lawal keeps the fight on the outside.
Lawal bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Ritter! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Ritter is still in real trouble! Can Lawal finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ritter looking to control but Lawal passes into half guard.
Lawal controlling the action here. Ritter seems to have recovered his senses.

Ritter wants to improve his position but Lawal is controlling well.
Ritter is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ritter trying to control but Lawal postures up.
Lawal not doing much here.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Ritter looks gassed! Lawal scores with a leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lawal cracks Ritter with an uppercut from hell and Ritter crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Lawal's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Lawal decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Lawal lands with a good body shot. Ritter chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lawal can pounce on him.
Lawal throws an overhand right that has Ritter reeling! Lawal follows up with more punches and Ritter is out cold! This one is all over!
