The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bieber throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Oliva sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Oliva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bieber is fending him off so far but Oliva persists. Nope, Bieber circles away and we're back to standing.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bieber.

Bieber closes the distance and clinches.
Oliva tries to pull guard but Bieber holds him up against the cage and eventually Oliva drops back down to his feet.
Oliva fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Justin Bieber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nina Oliva.

Bieber throws an elbow but it misses.

Bieber ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oliva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bieber paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Oliva keeps the fight on the outside.
Bieber swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oliva stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bieber.

Oliva closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Bieber misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nina Oliva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bieber shoots for a double leg takedown but Oliva sprawls well. He's pushed Bieber's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Oliva needs to keep his hands up - Bieber had a free shot at his head there.
