Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Baltimore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Groslouis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Baltimore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Groslouis! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baltimore tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Groslouis paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jason Baltimore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Groslouis slaps away a takedown attempt from Baltimore, before circling back to the center of the mat. Baltimore thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Groslouis if he has to take too many more of those.
Groslouis avoids the head kick by Baltimore.
A telegraphed right hand from Baltimore misses the target. Baltimore tries to clinch up. The fighters circling - Baltimore throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Groslouis connects with a high kick. Groslouis tries a head kick but it misses.
Groslouis moves into the clinch. Groslouis has Baltimore pressed against the cage, preventing Baltimore from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Groslouis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Groslouis throws a head kick that misses. Groslouis doesn't manage to clinch there - Baltimore circles away.
Baltimore stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Mark Groslouis has been cut. Baltimore lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baltimore looks to land a left hand but Groslouis moved out of range nicely. Baltimore is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Baltimore drives through with a takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Baltimore working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Groslouis's head. Baltimore drops back looking for a leg! Groslouis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Groslouis manages to kick Baltimore off! Baltimore jumps back into Groslouis's guard. Groslouis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baltimore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Baltimore connects with a couple of short punches. Baltimore gets to his feet - Groslouis follows without any prompting. Baltimore misses the shot to the body. Groslouis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Groslouis looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Groslouis slips a jab and a cross from Baltimore.

Baltimore has a takedown stuffed. Baltimore shoots for a takedown but Groslouis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Baltimore. That's going to take a lot out of him. Groslouis keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Baltimore. Groslouis thumps Baltimore with a low kick. A low kick from Baltimore misses and Groslouis counters with a nice leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Baltimore throws a shot from downtown. Groslouis moves away and avoids it. Baltimore thows a body shot but no joy. Groslouis fails to land with a series of punches.
Baltimore tries to clinch but fails miserably and Groslouis counters with a series of strikes. Baltimore will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Baltimore throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Baltimore tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Groslouis counters with a slapping leg kick. Groslouis avoids a kick to the body.
Groslouis fakes the leg kick and cracks Baltimore in the body. Baltimore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Baltimore blocks a head kick by Groslouis.
Baltimore throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Groslouis finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Groslouis throws a series of punches but Baltimore moves out of range. Baltimore throws a right and a left that both miss. A decent looking body kick lands there for Groslouis.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Groslouis throws a sloppy head kick and Baltimore moves out of range easily. A big left from Baltimore misses. Groslouis moves out of range as Baltimore throws a body kick.
Baltimore moves in looking to clinch but Groslouis pushes him off. Baltimore looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Baltimore slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Baltimore scores with a decent looking elbow strike. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Baltimore stays in close to Groslouis's body and controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Baltimore dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mark Groslouis's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Groslouis misses with a looping right. Groslouis misses with a takedown attempt so Baltimore counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Groslouis is working an open guard so Baltimore takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Groslouis lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Baltimore lands a hook that stumbles Groslouis back into the cage. Baltimore follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Groslouis to the canvas! Baltimore pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Groslouis has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
