Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas cracks AlQaeda with a good jab.
Thomas fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches AlQaeda on the side of the head.
Thomas cracks AlQaeda with an open hand slap.
Thomas lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
AlQaeda tries to clinch up.
AlQaeda is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Thomas's half guard.
AlQaeda works his foot free and advances to mount.
AlQaeda lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
AlQaeda throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
AlQaeda has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Thomas's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
AlQaeda lands a nice shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
AlQaeda putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
AlQaeda misses with a head shot.
AlQaeda is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Thomas to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Thomas shrugs it off.
AlQaeda swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Thomas is now in AlQaeda's guard. A big mistake from AlQaeda there, giving up the dominant position!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thomas gets to his feet - AlQaeda follows without any prompting.
AlQaeda misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Thomas connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed AlQaeda momentarily.
Thomas lands a glancing blow to the side of AlQaeda's head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thomas lands with a nice body punch.
AlQaeda is breathing heavily.
AlQaeda walks straight into a right hand from Thomas - that's dropped him! Thomas jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save AlQaeda from any more punishment! AlQaeda complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). TJ Thomas!
