The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thigh on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A chopping leg kick lands by Thigh.
John lands a nice shot to the body.
Thigh keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from John.
John misses with a straight left.
John moves out of range of the body kick.
John scores with a jab to the head.
John bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thigh fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but John is out of range.
John throws a lazy right hand but Thigh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
John connects with a crisp jab.
Nice cross by John.
John takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
John scores with a crisp jab that stopped Thigh in his tracks.
Thigh is rocked!
Thigh throws a low kick but John avoids it.
Thigh is still on wobbly legs! Can John finish him?
Thigh fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but John is out of range.
Thigh seems to have recovered his senses.
Thigh walks straight into a right hand from John - that's dropped him! John jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Thigh from any more punishment! Thigh complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Big John!
