Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crash Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Travis Price! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Davis as Price shoots in. Davis throws a shot from downtown. Price moves away and avoids it. Davis misses with a hook. Davis throws a nice looking combination but Price bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Davis lands a glancing blow to the side of Price's head. Price fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Davis throws a right hand that Price ducks under and follows up with a left that Price also avoids with ease. Davis stalks Price and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Price's face. Price staggers backwards, shaken. Davis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Price closes this distance looking for a takedown but Davis circles away. Crash Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Price. Price instigates a clinch. Davis has had enough of the clinch but Price keeps him there for the moment. The referee calls for Price to work.

Price creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Davis's defenses. Price pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Price creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Davis wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Price has him pressed against the cage. Price effectively controlling the action here. Price scores a nice knee to the body.

That was a close round but I would say that Crash Davis will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Davis throws the left hand but Price avoids the punch easily. A telegraphed right hand from Davis misses the target. Price moves away from the strike by Davis. Price avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Price looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Davis tries to kick Price off but Price keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Davis avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Price.
That's one minute gone in the round. Price sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Davis defending well though. Davis looks like he's trying to stand up.
Price is nestled in close to Davis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Price seems to be working for a kimura but Davis defends the submission attempt. Price missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Davis is trying to stand.
Price is just content to waste time from the top position. Davis takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Davis pushes Price off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Price avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Price throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Price blocks a jab. Price displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Davis throws out the jab. Davis throws a jab when Price was well out of range. Price closes the distance and clinches up with Davis, looking for a takedown. Price pushes Davis against the cage but Davis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Davis lands with a nice combination. Price backs away looking to recover. No joy there for Davis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Davis leaves Price with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Crash Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Price. Davis with a hook. Price takes one to the chin there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Crash Davis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Price closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Price lands an elbow just above Davis 's eye. Davis is trying to push Price away but Price has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Price lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. A nice glancing elbow lands by Price. With the fighters up against the cage, Price throws an elbow but misses. A short body shot lands from Price as the two fighters clinch.

Crash Davis dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Davis throws an overhand right that lands on Price's shoulder, as Price tries to avoid the shot. Davis is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Price closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Price lands in his opponent's guard. Price makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Davis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Price is controlling him. Price pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Davis is keeping the position for now. Price is looking to work some ground and pound but Davis has wrist control. Price trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Price distracts Davis with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Price is controlling him. Davis has his feet on Price's thighs here. He's pushed Price off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Price screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
