Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gene moves into range and clinches up with Bagato.
Gene is working for takedown but Bagato is calmly controlling the position for now.
Gene pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Gene shoots in and bounces Bagato off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
