Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Viet Cong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cong comes to the cage accompanied by I Want War. The key to victory for Viet Cong has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cong moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fairtex connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Cong tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fairtex swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A bone on bone clash there as Fairtex blocks the leg kick.
Cong on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Cong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cong tries to close the distance and clinch but Fairtex swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fairtex scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cong doesn't seem bothered though.
Cong moves out of range as Fairtex strikes.
Cong throws a low kick, looking for Fairtex's leg but Fairtex calmly moves out of range.

Fairtex looks like he's trying to stand up.
Cong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fairtex keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Fairtex dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fairtex is looking to clinch but Cong is avoiding it.
Fairtex has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fairtex there as he acknowledges the shot.
Cong takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
