Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Pierre Skogsbaer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quik Yin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skogsbaer comes to the cage accompanied by Rough boy - ZZ Top. Yin has chosen I Got A Feeling (lol :P) as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean Pierre Skogsbaer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quik Yin! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skogsbaer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Skogsbaer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yin moves away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Yin. Yin misses the shot to the body. Yin shoots in and bounces Skogsbaer off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Skogsbaer wants to stand up but Yin is controlling him. Yin throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Skogsbaer seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Skogsbaer swivels though and keeps the full guard. Skogsbaer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Yin is controlling him. Yin trying to control but Skogsbaer is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Yin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yin cracks Skogsbaer with a big right hand but Skogsbaer just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Yin trying to control the position but Skogsbaer is working away. Yin misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Yin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Skogsbaer has escaped the position, nice work there. Skogsbaer is pushing Yin's head away, looking to escape. Yin manages to hold on to the position though. Skogsbaer avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Yin.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yin looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Skogsbaer is looking to regain half guard here but Yin keeps moving and retains side control. Yin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Skogsbaer keeps working. Skogsbaer sneaks out the side door and pushes Yin away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Skogsbaer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Yin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Skogsbaer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Skogsbaer tries to escape but Yin is in control. Skogsbaer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yin was well out of range. Poor timing from Skogsbaer. Yin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Skogsbaer pinned against the cage. Skogsbaer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Yin moves away from the strike by Skogsbaer. Skogsbaer scores with a one two! Yin had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
It looks like Quik Yin has been cut. Yin misses with an uppercut. Skogsbaer saw that one coming. Skogsbaer walks into a stiff left hand from Yin. Skogsbaer misses with a body shot.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Yin lands a nice short elbow. Yin is working for a kimura here but Skogsbaer manages to reverse the position and he's now in Yin's guard.
Yin wants to sweep here but Skogsbaer controlling him for the moment. Yin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Skogsbaer postures up in Yin's guard and throws a big left but Yin blocks it. Skogsbaer is looking to work some ground and pound but Yin has wrist control. Skogsbaer wants to control from the top but Yin keeps moving.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Yin's head. Skogsbaer lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Skogsbaer drops an elbow to the side of Yin's head. Skogsbaer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

And that's the end of the fight! Jean Pierre Skogsbaer showed his dominance in that final round. Well Skogsbaer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today.
