Guapo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Marie III quickly recovers to half guard.
Marie III tries to roll over but Guapo keeps him under control.
Marie III makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Marie III.
Marie III wants to sweep here but Guapo controlling him for the moment.
Marie III is trying to keep Guapo in close.
Marie III looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Guapo puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Marie III has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Guapo is working away from the top position though.
Guapo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Marie III keeps working.

Guapo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Marie III on the ground.
Guapo has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Marie III to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Guapo is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Marie III pulls down on the head and he's put Guapo to sleep! This one is all over!
