Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brawl Leer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Grady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grady has chosen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdCcSpkOwGY as his entrance music. Brawl Leer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brawl Leer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Grady! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grady misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Leer scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Leer tries to keep at a distance but Grady has taken the fight into the clinch. Grady ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Grady no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Grady has his foot on Leer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Leer works his way back into a safe position though. Grady has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Leer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Grady had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Leer defends it easily. Grady escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Leer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Grady looking for a guillotine here but Leer defends easily.
Leer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Grady looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Grady looks gassed! Leer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Grady has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Leer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leer wants to pass the guard but Grady is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grady has a closed guard, preventing Leer from standing up. Grady working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Leer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Leer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Grady is looking for a triangle but Leer pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Grady looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Leer has picked Grady up and slammed him! Grady can't keep hold of the triangle and Leer manages to pass to side control! Grady tries to improve position but can't. You can see the frustration on Grady's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Grady is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Grady manages to get back to half guard. Grady flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Brawl Leer will probably get the nod. That's time! Leer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Leer paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Leer lands a jab to the head.
Grady shoots in and gets a takedown into Leer's guard. Grady drops back looking for a leg! Leer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Leer manages to kick Grady off! Grady jumps back into Leer's guard. Leer looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Leer seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Grady wants to pass the guard but Leer is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grady wants to control from the top but Leer keeps moving. Leer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Leer keeping full guard, as Grady tries to pass. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Grady drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Grady jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Leer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Leer tries to get out of the position. Grady trying to control but Leer is working from the bottom.

Grady drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Leer dives on top into guard. Leer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. That was a close second round but I would say that Brawl Leer will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Leer throws a combination. Grady tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Grady fails with the takedown. Leer stuns Grady with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Leer leaves Grady with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Grady moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Leer cracks Grady with a good jab. Leer smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. James Grady is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Leer works Grady's body with a nice hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Leer sizes up Grady with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Grady is rocked! Grady walks straight into a right hand from Leer - that's dropped him! Leer jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Grady from any more punishment! Grady complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
