Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Capwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jules Winnfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason Capwell is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mason Capwell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jules Winnfield! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Capwell moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Winnfield closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. A shot to the liver by Winnfield. Beautiful body shot. Winnfield connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Winnfield looks to land a left hand but Capwell moved out of range nicely. Winnfield misses with a looping right. Capwell connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Winnfield scores with a jab. Capwell acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Capwell lands with a right hand. Mason Capwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Capwell misses with a shot to the body and Winnfield cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A shot to the liver by Winnfield. Beautiful body shot. Capwell closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Capwell throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Capwell lands a nice short elbow. Capwell thows a huge punch but Winnfield dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Capwell seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Winnfield pushes Capwell off looking to stand but Capwell dives back in and keeps control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Capwell throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Winnfield looks like he's trying to stand up.
Capwell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Capwell missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Capwell thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Winnfield to regain full guard. Capwell postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Capwell trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Winnfield can do anything to dispel that myth. Winnfield utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Capwell won't allow Winnfield to get back to his feet. Capwell content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Capwell with a flurry of punches that miss. Capwell working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Winnfield's head. Capwell throwing strikes from guard but Winnfield blocks nicely. Capwell in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Capwell postures up and lands a big shot to Winnfield's brow. Capwell pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Winnfield is keeping the position for now.

Winnfield utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Capwell throws a big right hand that misses. Capwell stops Winnfield from standing up. Capwell seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Capwell seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Winnfield for as long as he can get away with. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mason Capwell will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Capwell uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Capwell uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Winnfield. Winnfield bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Capwell's head. Capwell misses with a straight left. Winnfield swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A slow jab from Winnfield misses its intended target. The fighters circle momentarily. Capwell darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Winnfield looks to land a left hand but Capwell moved out of range nicely. The fighters circling - Capwell throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Capwell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Winnfield but Winnfield pushes him off and we're back to square one. A jab from Capwell misses. Capwell gets the takedown into side control. Capwell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Winnfield keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Winnfield wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Capwell cracks Winnfield with a big right hand but Winnfield just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Capwell scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Winnfield to see if he's OK. Capwell throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Capwell is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Capwell trying to control the action but Winnfield is working from the bottom.

Capwell tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Winnfield defending against the ground and pound. Capwell landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Capwell in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Capwell throws a strike aimed at the side of Winnfield's head but Winnfield avoids it well.

Capwell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Winnfield does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Capwell controlling the action here. Winnfield is breathing heavily. Capwell looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Capwell throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Capwell thows a huge punch but Winnfield dodges it nicely.

Mason Capwell dominated that second round. That's time! Capwell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Capwell is defended easily by Winnfield. Capwell scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Capwell fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mason Capwell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Winnfield throws a looping overhand right but Capwell ducks down to avoid it. Winnfield lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Winnfield takes a swing at Capwell's ribcage but misses.

and Winnfield counters with a nice uppercut. Capwell misses with an uppercut. Winnfield saw that one coming. Winnfield misses with an uppercut. That's two minutes gone in the round. Capwell is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Winnfield! Capwell trying to control but he's not successful this time. A nice elbow there by Capwell. Capwell looking to control but Winnfield is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Winnfield blocking the ground and pound. Capwell looking to ground and pound but Winnfield is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Capwell won't let Winnfield get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Winnfield takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Winnfield avoids a series of strikes thrown by Capwell.
Capwell lands a big elbow. Capwell putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! A nice elbow there by Capwell. Capwell controlling the pace for now. Capwell tries to control but Winnfield wriggling away. Mason Capwell overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jules Winnfield has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Winnfield swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Winnfield is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Capwell scoring with strikes but Winnfield is staying in there. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Capwell controlling the pace for now. Mason Capwell is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Capwell lands with some strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Mason Capwell showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Capwell, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
