The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jiao closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Abukara to the mat! Abukara manages to get full guard.
Jiao passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jiao has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Abukara is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Abukara is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Abukara looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Jiao is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Abukara with him. Abukara is trying to defend but Jiao has an arm under the chin now! Abukara grimaces and is forced to tap out!
