Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Keat Cullen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jason Dale! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Cullen throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cullen lands a really nice looking cross but Dale seems unphased.
Dale lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cullen circles away quickly and effectively. Cullen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A combination from Cullen does no damage. Cullen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cullen defending well as Dale loads up on a big left hand. Oooh a lovely combination from Dale sends Cullen down but not out. Dale dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Keat Cullen has been cut. Dale tries to move to mount but Cullen blocks the move with his legs. Oh Cullen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Dale prevents Cullen from escaping the position. Cullen seems to have got his legs back now. Cullen trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Dale perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dale seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cullen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Cullen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dale on the side of the head. Cullen swings for the body but Dale moves out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Keat Cullen will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Keat Cullen's cut. That's time! Cullen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dale shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Cullen dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Cullen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dale moves away. Cullen scores with a shot to the body.
Cullen closes the distance and pushes Dale back into the cage. Cullen connects with a nasty looking knee right to Dale's face.

Cullen is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Come on Cullen - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Cullen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dale. A right-left combo lands from Dale. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cullen tries to close the distance and clinch but Dale swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A punch combination from Dale misses.

Cullen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dale. Dale looks to land a combination but Cullen avoids it well. Dale takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jason Dale has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dale fails with the takedown. Keat Cullen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cullen closes the distance and lands a one-two.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Keat Cullen. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cullen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
