Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rysiek Lubicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jacobs closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jacobs lands in his opponent's guard. Lubicz has his foot on Jacobs's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jacobs works his way back into a safe position though. Lubicz looking for a guillotine here but Jacobs defends easily.
Jacobs must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jacobs is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lubicz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lubicz has escaped and now he's on top! Lubicz trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jacobs manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

But Lubicz has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lubicz! Lubicz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Jacobs is trying to improve his position. Jacobs is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lubicz off and has taken his back! Lubicz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jacobs is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lubicz knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lubicz for a finish. Jacobs wants to control the position but Lubicz frees himself and scrambles - Jacobs manages to regain control in side control.
Jacobs is trying to get an arm triangle but Lubicz is defending well. Jacobs swings around for an armbar but Lubicz sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jacobs's guard. Jacobs isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lubicz stacks Jacobs on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lubicz! Jacobs is trying to improve his position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rysiek Lubicz will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Lubicz tries to land a front kick but Jacobs steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Jacobs shoots in for a takedown but Lubicz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jacobs tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lubicz swats him away and circles back towards the center. Chris Jacobs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lubicz fails with the takedown and Jacobs counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lubicz won't be happy with that. Jacobs decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lubicz to his feet. Jacobs misses with a takedown and Lubicz counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jacobs's guard now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lubicz advances to half guard. Jacobs takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Lubicz is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jacobs has managed to free his arm - good work.
