Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kip Flenderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kip Flenderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leo Clarke! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Clarke crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Flenderson - the referee stops the clock and Clarke gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Flenderson. Clarke manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. A bone on bone clash there as Clarke blocks the leg kick.
Flenderson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Clarke if he has to take too many more of those.
Flenderson cracks the inside of Clarke's front leg. Flenderson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Flenderson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Flenderson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Flenderson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Clarke misses with a hook. Clarke scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Kip Flenderson has been cut. Flenderson tries to clinch but Clarke moves out of range. Flenderson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Clarke swats away the attempt to clinch by Flenderson. Flenderson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Flenderson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clarke throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Flenderson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kip Flenderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Flenderson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Clarke has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Flenderson throws a lazy right hand but Clarke sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kip Flenderson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Flenderson lands a jab to the nose. Clarke fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Flenderson manages to avoid it. Flenderson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A telegraphed right hand from Clarke misses the target. Clarke avoids the head kick by Flenderson.
Flenderson throws a low kick, looking for Clarke's leg but Clarke calmly moves out of range. That kick from Flenderson tenderised Clarke's leg. Clarke is trying to keep his angry face on. Flenderson wants to clinch up but Clarke keeps it at a distance. Flenderson tries to clinch but Clarke moves out of range. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Flenderson - that will leave a mark!
Flenderson doesn't manage to clinch there - Clarke circles away.
Clarke tries to score a power double leg takedown but Flenderson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Clarke somewhat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flenderson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Flenderson throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Clarke has had enough of the clinch but Flenderson keeps him there for the moment. Clarke on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Clarke is trying to force a seperation but Flenderson has the dominant position. Flenderson is looking to control Clarke's arms but Clarke gets an underhook and turns him. Now Flenderson has his back to the cage. Flenderson looks to throw an elbow but misses. Clarke pushes Flenderson back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Flenderson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Clarke has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Clarke is looking to break free of the clinch but Flenderson has double underhooks. Flenderson is trying to break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clarke is trying to push Flenderson away but Flenderson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Flenderson throws an elbow but it misses.
Flenderson digs a right hand underneath Clarke's ribcage. Clarke let out a lung full of air as it connected. Flenderson connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Leo Clarke has been cut. Flenderson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Clarke backwards. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Clarke takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Clarke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

A clash of legs there as Clarke blocks the low kick. Clarke misses the shot to the body. Clarke looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Flenderson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Clarke trying to control but Flenderson is working from the bottom. Flenderson trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Flenderson is pulling down on Clarke's head. It's preventing any offense from Clarke, at least for the moment. Clarke working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Flenderson's head. Flenderson trying to keep a closed guard but Clarke is proving a slippery customer.
Flenderson wants to improve his position but instead Clarke has moved into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Flenderson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kip Flenderson will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Clarke ducks under a wild hook from Flenderson. A jab from Clarke misses. Clarke throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clarke checks the leg kick. Clarke is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Flenderson. Flenderson feints and then cracks Clarke's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Clarke down. Flenderson slips a jab and a cross from Clarke.
Clarke misses with an uppercut. Flenderson saw that one coming. A chopping leg kick lands by Flenderson. Flenderson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Flenderson tries to clinch but Clarke moves out of range. Clarke takes one to the side of the head.
Flenderson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Clarke's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Clarke throws a jab when Flenderson was well out of range. Clarke misses with an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flenderson feints and then cracks Clarke's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Clarke down. Flenderson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Flenderson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Clarke circles away quickly and effectively. Flenderson tries to clinch there but Clarke circles away.

A big right from Clarke misses. Flenderson misses with a shot to the body and Clarke counters with a single leg into guard. Flenderson didn't expect that. Flenderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Clarke is one step ahead there. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Clarke wants to control from the top but Flenderson keeps moving. Clarke drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Flenderson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Clarke has Flenderson in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clarke pulls Flenderson in close to prevent any damage. Clarke wants to control the position but Flenderson says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Flenderson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Clarke does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Flenderson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Clarke is trying to get back to full guard. Clarke is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clarke is staying active underneath Flenderson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Clarke wants to improve his position but Flenderson is controlling well.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Flenderson is looking to stall here but Clarke recovers full guard. Flenderson slips nicely into half guard. Flenderson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Clarke is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Clarke is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Flenderson wants to pass the guard but Clarke is defending well. Clarke has one foot on Flenderson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Clarke walks into a straight right hand from Flenderson. Flenderson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Clarke fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Flenderson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Clarke has a takedown stuffed. Flenderson wants to slow Clarke down by chopping away at his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kip Flenderson will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Flenderson lands with a slapping head kick. Clarke is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Clarke moves out of range as Flenderson strikes. Flenderson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Clarke. Flenderson misses with a leg kick and Clarke counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Clarke dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Clarke keeps the fight on the outside. Clarke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kip Flenderson. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Flenderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
