Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kees Bandora! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, BJJ MASTAH! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MASTAH closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. MASTAH moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Bandora. Bandora is looking for a sweep. Bandora is looking to work his way out of this bad position but MASTAH is controlling him well. MASTAH wants to stand but Bandora is controlling his arm. MASTAH trying to control the action but Bandora is working from the bottom. Bandora tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bandora is not content to let MASTAH control the position. MASTAH decides to take the fight back to the feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by MASTAH.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Bandora's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. MASTAH wants to control but Bandora is keeping him busy. Bandora is trying to get back to half guard. Bandora manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! MASTAH missing with punches from the bottom.

MASTAH throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. MASTAH looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bandora is one step ahead there. Bandora loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bandora wants to control from the top but MASTAH keeps moving. Bandora pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. MASTAH is keeping the position for now. Bandora has gone for a leg lock! MASTAH slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bandora's guard. MASTAH controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MASTAH wants to get up but he can't break Bandora's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bandora is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. MASTAH trying to control the position from guard on top but Bandora is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. MASTAH is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up. BJJ MASTAH was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bandora slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Bandora pushes MASTAH up against the cage in a clinch. Bandora wants a takedown but no success here.

Bandora is breathing heavily. MASTAH gets to his feet. Bandora looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! MASTAH throws a head kick but Bandora moves out of range.
MASTAH takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bandora swats away the attempt to clinch by MASTAH. MASTAH is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bandora's half guard. Bandora is refusing to be controlled, as MASTAH sits in half guard. MASTAH is figuring out what he wants to do next. Bandora wants to sweep but MASTAH has passed to side control! MASTAH is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bandora is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. MASTAH thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. MASTAH just content to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
BJJ MASTAH dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bandora throws a right and a left that MASTAH avoids nicely. MASTAH takes a kick to the side of the head. MASTAH misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
MASTAH will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. MASTAH shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bandora is trying to defend but MASTAH finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. MASTAH working the head and body with strikes. Bandora is looking to improve his position.
Bandora is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but MASTAH pulls his head out easily. MASTAH is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bandora has managed to free his arm - good work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. MASTAH looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round. MASTAH is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bandora is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of MASTAH's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take MASTAH's back! MASTAH rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
MASTAH is looking to control Bandora's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can MASTAH avoid being mounted? MASTAH is trying to stand up here but Bandora is controlling him well. Bandora is looking for a kimura but MASTAH is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bandora to get the leverage. MASTAH is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. MASTAH moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now MASTAH is on top in guard.
MASTAH landing some decent shots from guard. MASTAH is working Bandora over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Bandora has a closed guard, preventing MASTAH from standing up. MASTAH showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bandora is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. MASTAH is aware though and is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MASTAH passes Bandora's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Bandora actively working from the bottom here. Bandora looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Still in half guard, MASTAH seems content to control. Bandora on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. MASTAH perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Bandora wants to get back to full guard. Bandora looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Bandora looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MASTAH uses his free foot to push down on Bandora's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bandora. MASTAH controlling from mount. The referee warns Bandora that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
MASTAH takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. MASTAH is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bandora can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
MASTAH manages to capitalize on a mistake by Bandora to take his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
BJJ MASTAH showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Bandora is squirming around, avoiding MASTAH's attempts to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. MASTAH prevents Bandora from getting the reversal. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bandora is trying to escape the mount but MASTAH keeps good control and instead manages to take Bandora's back.
MASTAH keeps control of the position as Bandora tries to break free.
MASTAH lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. BJJ MASTAH has got the better of the ground game so far. MASTAH landing with strikes. MASTAH lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by MASTAH.
Bandora is rocked! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. MASTAH biding his time, controlling Bandora. Oh Bandora is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's two minutes gone in the round. MASTAH is raining down hard shots and and Bandora has had enough - he's tapped out due to the strikes!
