Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ingko Abat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevez Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ingko Abat had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trevez Turner!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abat dodges the punch combination from Turner.
Turner throws a sloppy head kick and Abat moves out of range easily.

Turner scores with a head kick. Abat tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.


It looks like Ingko Abat has been cut.

Abat shoots in and gets a takedown into Turner's guard.

Abat drops back looking for a leg! Turner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Turner manages to kick Abat off! Abat jumps back into Turner's guard.

Turner wants to get up but he can't break Abat's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Turner is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

That was a close round but I would say that Ingko Abat will probably get the nod.

Abat closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Turner to the mat! Turner manages to get full guard.

Abat shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Turner napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Abat thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Abat swings around for an armbar but Turner sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Abat's guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Abat is working an open guard so Turner takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
