Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Rasmussen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Drysdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robert Drysdale is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Rasmussen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert Drysdale! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasmussen looks to land a body kick but Drysdale moved away. Rasmussen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rasmussen is defended easily by Drysdale. Drysdale doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rasmussen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Drysdale pulls Rasmussen in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rasmussen tries to free his leg and advance position but Drysdale is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Drysdale wants to sweep here but Rasmussen controlling him for the moment. Drysdale bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rasmussen's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drysdale is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Rasmussen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Drysdale on the ground. Drysdale trying to control but Rasmussen is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drysdale drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Drysdale jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Drysdale prevents Rasmussen from getting back to his feet. Drysdale wants to control from the top but Rasmussen keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Drysdale works a leg free and moves into half guard. Drysdale stops Rasmussen from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Rasmussen dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Rasmussen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Drysdale gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Rasmussen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Drysdale's guard. Drysdale pulls Rasmussen in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drysdale's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rasmussen wants to control from the top but Drysdale keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drysdale has control of Rasmussen's left arm, preventing Rasmussen from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rasmussen throws a series of punches but Drysdale avoids them all with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Rasmussen dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Drysdale fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rasmussen swings away with a leg kick that misses. Rasmussen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nathan Rasmussen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rasmussen gets the takedown into side control. Drysdale manages to work his way to half guard, despite Rasmussen's best efforts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drysdale manages to get to full guard.
Rasmussen trying to control the position from guard on top but Drysdale is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Drysdale looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drysdale is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Robert Drysdale has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nathan Rasmussen is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Drysdale moves into full mount! Rasmussen won't be happy about that!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Robert Drysdale. I think Rasmussen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
