The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgibblets misses with a few strikes there.
Wayne shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mcgibblets as he jumps to the side.
Mcgibblets displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wayne.
Wayne looks to score with a jab to the body but Mcgibblets is just out of range.
Mcgibblets cracks Wayne with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Mcgibblets connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like jason Wayne has been cut.
Wayne lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Mcgibblets leaves Wayne with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for jason Wayne. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wayne throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wayne really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mcgibblets cracks a nice hook into Wayne's ribs.
Wayne moves away from the strike by Mcgibblets.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mcgibblets, as that shot connected.
Wayne closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mcgibblets quickly recovers to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mcgibblets is controlling Wayne's trapped leg to prevent Wayne from advancing to side control.

Mcgibblets manages to get to full guard.
Mcgibblets looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wayne is one step ahead there.
Mcgibblets has his feet on Wayne's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Wayne is breathing heavily.
Mcgibblets looks to throw the jab but Wayne is out of range.

Wayne walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Mcgibblets lands a really nice looking cross but Wayne seems unphased.
Mcgibblets stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Oh Wayne is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

jason Wayne's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Mcgibblets moves into range and connects with a jab.
Mcgibblets is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Wayne had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Mcgibblets Rushes Wayne and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Wayne is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Mcgibblets Piles on the pressure and Wayne crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
