Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilcox Apae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimmy Watson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wilcox Apae! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watson misses with a series of wild punches.
Watson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Apae backs up against the cage.

It looks like Wilcox Apae has been cut. Apae defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Watson. A telegraphed right hand from Apae misses the target. Watson ducks under a wild hook from Apae. Watson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Watson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Apae finds it's way round the side to connect with Watson's head. Watson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Watson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Apae manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Watson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Apae avoids it really well and circles away.

Wilcox Apae dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The fighters circling - Apae throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Watson fails with the takedown. Apae looks to land a left hand but Watson moved out of range nicely. Apae connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Watson momentarily.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Watson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Watson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Apae but Apae pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jimmy Watson. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Wilcox Apae. Apae bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Watson's head backwards. Watson blocks a jab. Apae scores with a jab.

And that's the end of the fight! Wilcox Apae comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Apae has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
