Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cesare Batisti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dan St Pierre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cesare Batisti! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batisti shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with St Pierre but St Pierre pushes him off and we're back to square one. Batisti closes the distance and clinches up with St Pierre, looking for a takedown. Batisti pushes St Pierre against the cage but St Pierre circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Batisti tries to close the distance and clinch up but St Pierre swats him away and circles back towards the center. The fight moves into the clinch position. Batisti is working for takedown but St Pierre is calmly controlling the position for now. Dan St Pierre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cesare Batisti. Batisti wants to break free but St Pierre has control.
St Pierre wants to get back to striking at distance but Batisti won't allow it.

Batisti tries to land knees in the clinch but St Pierre avoids the damage to the body. St Pierre missing with knees to the body.
St Pierre has Batisti pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. St Pierre pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Batisti tumbling to the mat - St Pierre dives into Batisti's guard. St Pierre is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. St Pierre might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Batisti is looking for a triangle but St Pierre pushes his legs off easily.
St Pierre controls from within his opponent's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Batisti working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
We're going to have a standup here because Dan St Pierre wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. St Pierre closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with St Pierre in particular looking to stall. St Pierre escapes and gets back to his feet. St Pierre changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Batisti looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Batisti looks to move to half guard but instead St Pierre has passed into mount! Damn! St Pierre controlling the pace for now. Batisti is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Batisti tries to reverse the position but St Pierre maintains control. St Pierre unloading with bombs!

St Pierre controlling the pace for now. St Pierre has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Batisti is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Batisti tries to hold on but St Pierre postures up. St Pierre controlling from the full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. St Pierre lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Batisti hang on? St Pierre takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Batisti tries to lock up and control but St Pierre gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. St Pierre controlling from the full mount. Batisti in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan St Pierre dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Batisti darts in trying to clinch and St Pierre counters with a shoot takedown. Batisti fights it but they end up in guard. St Pierre sitting in guard, not really doing much. Batisti trying to keep a closed guard but St Pierre is proving a slippery customer.
St Pierre wanted to stand there but Batisti had control of the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. St Pierre controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Dan St Pierre just wasn't active enough. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Batisti!
St Pierre closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Batisti quickly recovers to half guard. St Pierre working the head and body with strikes. St Pierre performing his best blanket impression for a moment. St Pierre stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Batisti misses with a takedown attempt and St Pierre counters with a nice double leg into side control. Batisti won't be happy with that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! St Pierre is looking to take a break and control but Batisti is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. St Pierre scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Batisti to see if he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. St Pierre throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Batisti works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Batisti throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and St Pierre manages to pass to side control. Batisti can't do much from the bottom here. St Pierre misses with an attempted head punch from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St Pierre working the ground and pound from side control. St Pierre controls the position from side control. St Pierre's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. St Pierre works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. St Pierre postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Batisti is rocked! St Pierre lands with some strikes. Batisti is still in real trouble! Can St Pierre finish him? St Pierre connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
St Pierre connects with a bit shot that sees Batisti covering up! More strikes from St Pierre and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! St Pierre is our winner by TKO!
