Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rey Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rey Henry! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henry tries to close the distance and clinch but Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nice sprawl there from Henry as Jr shoots in. Jr fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Henry sprawls well initially but Jr persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Henry is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Henry is defending against the submission attempts here by Jr.
Henry has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jr is working away from the top position though. Jr is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jr is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Henry has managed to free his arm - good work. Henry is trying to maintain the position but Jr is very close to passing his half guard. Jr is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Henry doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jr. Jr is looking to advance position but Henry won't allow it.

Henry is trying to stand up here but Jr is controlling him well. Henry slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Jr drops back, looking for a kneebar! Henry looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Henry looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Henry! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Henry trying to control the action but Jr is working from the bottom. Henry is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jr has escaped the position, nice work there.

Jr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Henry pulls his head out easily. Henry prevents Jr from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jr looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Henry looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Henry wants to get back to his feet.

A close round but Rey Henry will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Henry moves in looking to clinch but Jr pushes him off. Henry slaps away a takedown attempt from Jr, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jr showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Henry trying to control but Jr postures up.

Jr is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's one minute gone in the round. Henry tries to get to full guard but Jr has control of the leg. Jr is looking for a kimura but Henry is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jr to get the leverage. Jr is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Jr working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Henry has passed into half guard!
Henry works his way into side control. Henry misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Henry in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Jr on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jr tries to get out of the position. Jr gets back to half guard. Jr blocking the ground and pound attempt from Henry. Jr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Henry on the ground. Jr actively working from the bottom here. Jr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Henry pulls his head out easily. Jr has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Henry escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Henry!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jr is not content to let Henry control the position. Jr is looking for a sweep. Jr is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Henry moves into full mount! Jr won't be happy about that! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jr wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Henry is hanging on to Jr's back as he tries to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rey Henry showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Henry stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Henry wants it to stay on the feet. Jr fails to land the takedown. Henry is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jr will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Henry tries to clinch but Jr moves out of range. Henry tries to land a front kick but Jr steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Henry goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Jr fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Henry tries to close the distance and clinch but Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Henry as he jumps to the side. Jr throws a low kick but Henry avoids it. Jr looks for a takedown but Henry sprawls well. Henry tries to clinch up but Jr circles away and keeps his distance. Rey Henry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jr ducks under a wild hook from Henry. Rey Henry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jr pushes Henry up against the ropes in a clinch. Jr tries for a takedown. No joy.
Jr jumps guard and drags Henry to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Henry stands up from guard. Let's bang! Henry tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Jr counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Henry's guard now. Jr postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Henry is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jr, into his guard. Jr looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Henry wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jr keeps working. Jr wants to get back to full guard. Henry is looking to take a break and control but Jr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jr is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Henry pulls his head out easily. Jr looking for a kimura from the bottom but Henry passes into side control! Henry wants to stand but Jr has his arm trapped. Henry takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Henry scores with a couple of short elbows. Jr sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Jr actively working from the bottom here. Jr is trying to get back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Rey Henry comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Henry winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
