Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fujitsu Okinawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and moshe brodlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okinawa throws a head kick but brodlin moves out of range.
brodlin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
brodlin moves in looking to clinch but Okinawa pushes him off.
Okinawa throws a hook but brodlin blocks it.
Okinawa looks to land a combination but brodlin avoids it well.
Okinawa could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Okinawa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but brodlin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Okinawa misses with a double jab.
brodlin tries to close the distance and clinch but Okinawa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
brodlin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Okinawa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Okinawa circles away from the clinch attempt.
brodlin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Okinawa swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Okinawa avoids the body shot from brodlin.
Okinawa bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
brodlin is not content to let Okinawa control the position.

Okinawa thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The strikes coming from Okinawa are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Okinawa creates some space and throws a big elbow, but brodlin sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Okinawa is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. brodlin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ground and pound from Okinawa seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Okinawa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but brodlin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Okinawa tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Okinawa wants to control but brodlin is keeping him busy.
Okinawa looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
brodlin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Okinawa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Okinawa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Okinawa swings around for an armbar but brodlin sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Okinawa's guard.
Okinawa looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Okinawa looking for submissions from the bottom but instead brodlin passes into side control.
Okinawa is breathing heavily.
Okinawa tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Okinawa manages to get back to half guard.
brodlin is trying to control the action in half guard but Okinawa is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Okinawa is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but brodlin pulls his head out easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fujitsu Okinawa dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Okinawa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
brodlin wants to sweep but Okinawa has passed to side control!
Okinawa has hold of brodlin's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! brodlin tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Okinawa cranks the arm and brodlin screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from brodlin, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Fujitsu Okinawa!
