Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Schmitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeff Schmitz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ray King!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmitz is looking to clinch.
Schmitz forces King back against the cage and clinches.
King tries to circle away but Schmitz has him pinned against the cage.
Schmitz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Some bone on bone action there as King checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Schmitz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? King is fending him off so far but Schmitz persists. Nope, King circles away and we're back to standing.
King ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
King swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Schmitz.
King scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
King lands with an overhand left.
King stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
King throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Schmitz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Schmitz takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ray King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schmitz is breathing heavily.
King scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
A jab from King finds it's way through Schmitz's defenses.
King lands a jab to the head.
Nice body punch from King.
King getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Schmitz is rocked!
King lands a nice shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
King bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Schmitz's head.
Oh Schmitz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
King dances in with a quick combination. Schmitz is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from King snaps Schmitz's head back. Schmitz stumbles backwards against the cage. King steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Schmitz's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Schmitz just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ray King!
